Bank holiday at Wimpole Hall

We paid a visit to Wimpole on Monday; despite living within 15 miles or so for the past 40+ years, I must confess to never having visited until now.  I shall be returning - particularly with a wider lens to better capture the lantern and its "gasolier"

Ahhhhhh...... cute ducklings at my office

My employer has moved a week ago to a new office on the outskirts of Cambridge, and there, just outside the office is a pond boasting carp, terrapins, and, as of yesterday, a family of very cute ducklings.  I took a few shots yesterday, but went back today armed with a longer lens and a polariser.
